A Thoughtful Surprise Proposal in Sundance Square
Boris planned a Sundance Square proposal in Fort Worth that surprised Courtney in the most thoughtful way. He invited their closest friends and family to witness the moment from start to finish.
On a warm afternoon in downtown Fort Worth, Boris rented out the Pavilion at Sundance Square for a private proposal surrounded by their closest friends and family. Because the pavilion was completely reserved, the space felt quiet, intimate, and emotional from the moment everyone arrived.
Friends and family lined up to create an aisle for Courtney to walk through toward Boris waiting at the end. As she made her way down the aisle, each person handed her a red rose. The simple gesture made the moment even more meaningful.
When Courtney finally reached Boris, he got down on one knee and proposed.
She said yes!
Engagement Photos Around Sundance Square
After the proposal, we spent time walking around Sundance Square capturing engagement photos while everyone soaked in the excitement of the day.
The Texas heat definitely showed up that afternoon, so we searched for shady spots throughout downtown Fort Worth. We also leaned into the dramatic lighting between the buildings to create fun and dynamic images with a little extra mood and movement.
Between the architecture, the energy of downtown, and the emotions still sinking in, the entire session felt relaxed and genuine.
Celebrating the Rest of the Day
Once we wrapped up photos, Boris and Courtney met back up with their friends and family for an early dinner celebration. Meanwhile, I headed home excited to start going through their gallery.
Moments like these remind me why I love documenting proposals and weddings so much. I love capturing real emotion, genuine reactions, and all the little in-between moments people remember forever.
