This Trinity Park elopement with Brittany and Anthony was simple, relaxed, and full of heart. They celebrated with their kids, family, and a handful of their closest friends by their side.
We met at the duck pond on a sunny September afternoon. And because this is Texas, it was definitely hot. Thankfully, the laid-back atmosphere made the entire afternoon feel easy breezy. 😎

A Relaxed Trinity Park Elopement
Brittany and Anthony kept their ceremony small, with close friends and family gathered near the water.
One of my favorite moments involved their blended family: their kids joined them during the ceremony to help fill a unity jar with colorful sand. Everyone chose a favorite color and poured a layer into the jar. Together, those individual colors created something new to represent their family coming together.
It was such a sweet way to include their children in the ceremony instead of having them simply watch from the sidelines. Personal touches like this are one of my favorite things about intimate weddings. ❤︎

Wedding Portraits by the Duck Pond
What’s a Trinity Park Elopement without ducks??
After Brittany and Anthony officially said “I do,” we stayed around the duck pond for portraits.
Trinity Park offers plenty of scenery without requiring couples to travel between several locations. The water, mature trees, greenery, and open spaces gave us everything we needed.
We photographed the newlyweds together, grabbed some family photos, and let everyone enjoy that “just-married” excitement.
There was no packed timeline, no rushing across town, just a cheerful afternoon celebrating something lovely and meaningful. ❤︎

Why Intimate Fort Worth Elopements Feel So Special
Keeping the Day Simple yet still Meaningful
I’ve photographed weddings of all sizes over the years, but I’ll always have a soft spot for intimate days like this. 🥹
An elopement doesn’t have to mean running away somewhere alone! Intimate weddings can take all kinds of forms, from a ceremony at your favorite park to a simple courthouse wedding followed by beautiful portraits.
There truly is no one correct way to get married!
Brittany and Anthony’s Trinity Park elopement felt relaxed, personal, and focused on the people they love. Sometimes that’s exactly what a wedding needs to be.
Their story also came to me through a past client. A friend whose elopement I photographed several years ago recommended me to them! And those referrals always mean so much to me. Knowing someone loved their experience enough to send people they care about my way is one of the best compliments I can receive. 😭❤︎
